Pre-operative view: the patient complains of the black spaces between her front teeth as well as their irregular shape. Since the condition of the gums is inflammatory, initial periodontal treatment is performed to eliminate inflammation.
After the periodontal treatment, the gums are healthy, so we plan to make ceramic veneers on the top 4 incisors to close the unsightly black spaces and correct the shapes irregularities of these teeth.
Casts of the dental arches are made, and the prosthetist prepares a wax up simulating the aesthetic corrections to be made.
The wax up is then transferred to the mouth (diagnostic mask): the patient is satisfied, the treatment itself can begin.
The teeth are prepared to receive the ceramic facets.
