Platelet Rich Fibrin is an “autogenous” platelet concentrate obtained from the patient’s blood sample. After centrifugation for a few minutes, a gel rich in fibrin is recovered. It is used in dental surgery to accelerate bone and gingival scarring, during dental extractions or pre-implant bone grafts.
